President’s biography

Boško Obradović was born on August 23rd 1976 in Vranici near Čačak. After finishing high school in Čačak, he studied Serbistics at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, where he graduated in 2002.

He is the author of the graduate thesis „Miloš Crnjanski and the new nationalism“ (ed. Christian Thought, Belgrade, 2005), for which he received the „Miloš Crnjanski“ award for the best book of essays published in the Serbian language for the period 2003-2005.

With two other students of the Faculty of Philology, he launched in 1999 a Serbistics students’ newsletter called “Dveri Srpske”, which eventually grew into one of the leading Serbian magazines about national culture and social issues, and its associates founded in 2003 an association of citizens called Serbian council Dveri (Srpski sabor Dveri).

He was one of the editors of the website www.dverisrpske.com, editor in chief of the TV production DVERI SRPSKE, as well as the initiator and the project manager of the Serbian Youth Parliament, the Serbian network and the St. Sava school. Since 2011 he is a member of the “Dveri – for the life of Serbia” precedence, and he was their candidate for the election of deputies in the National Parliament in 2012, and their lead candidate in the local elections in Čačak, where he is since 2012 the head of the board group “Dveri for the life of Čačak” which is the most important oppositional board group in the Assembly of the City of Čačak.

At the extraordinary republican elections in 2014 he was the lead candidate for the National Parliament.

He is engaged in the publishing business and has written over 200 different texts, and on behalf of Dveri, he had hundreds of appearances in different tribunes and in different world media.

His collection of selected texts entitled „The Serbian Oath – The Serbian national question today,“ underwent three editions (Serbian Assembly Dveri, 2007, 2008, 2010), and his book „The Serbian union” two editions (Catena mundi 2012, 2014).

His third book, „The Serbian rightwing – the position of the Serbian literary right-wing in the 30s of the 20th century“ was published in 2015, also published by Catena mundi.

He is a father of four children. He lives in Čačak. He is employed and is working in the publishing house Catena Mundi as chief editor.

At the inaugural assembly, held on June 27th 2015 in Čačak, Boško Obradović was elected as the first President of the Serbian Movement Dveri by consensus votes of delegates from all over Serbia.
